| Welcome to the Fairchild Family's web page! The Fairchild family has been raising and producing championship caliber Texas Longhorns since 1975. We are extremely excited to show all Longhorn enthusiastis our breeding program. We are dedicated to producing show champions as well as sale champions. We call our operation the "Hands On Operation" and are well known throughout the country for showing and halter breaking gentle and loving cattle. Proven genetics, confirmation, color, disposition and lots of horn are the vital elements that make for great longhorn cattle. Take a look at the cattle on these pages or visit us at the ranch. | DOB: 9-11-2005 Sire: Farlap Chex Dam: Night Safari BL 833 On 11-10-2007 Safari Chex was awarded "Tip to Tip Class Champion" at the 2007 Horn Showcase. At 26 months old, he measured 65" TTT. On 5-11-08 (32 mos. old), we measured Safari Chex at 70.5" TTT. He will be 3 years old on 9-11-08. During October 08, you can see Safari Chex in Guthrie,Oklahoma at the Longhorn World Championships and in Fort Worth,TX at the Horn Showcase. We are looking forward to his official measurements.
